The Foundation strives to achieve the above objectives by:

– Award of Prizes to individuals and organisations that promote community development
The World Continuing Education Alliance (WCEA) operates in several regions of the world with a specific goal of improving health outcomes. As a Health Care Worker, the WCEA programme helps you study anywhere, at anytime, whether you are on the go or at work. All that is needed is access to the internet, availability of a smartphone or a computer.
WCEA courses are accessible anywhere, mobile friendly and can be downloaded onto your phone, using the WCEA app. Courses studied and exams taken on the app will updated on the learning management system anytime you are online, so you can get your CPD certificates.
The health sector is very dynamic and it takes a great deal of effort to keep abreast of rapid developments and expansion in medical knowledge, skill and equipment. Also, it has been documented that a structured programme of Continuous Professional Education is crucial to reducing gaps in the health sector and strengthening health systems particularly in developing countries.
Therefore, in order to contribute to training of Medical Doctors in Nigeria as well as marking of Year 2022 International Women’s Day, a QUIZ on Maternal Health is being organised using the WCEA Maternal Health Courses namely:
1. Post Partum Haemorrhage
2. Key Definitions of Maternal Death Surveillance and Response
3. Monitoring and Evaluation of Maternal and Perinatal Death Surveillance and Response System
4. Introduction to the WHO Labour Care Guide
5. Prevention and management of Obstructed Labour
Starting from Thursday, 31st of March till Wednesday, 6th of March 2022, Medical Doctors in Nigeria can take any or all of these courses and send their scores to mioseji@gmail.com.
